About Us

Walter Gibson founded an independent residential cleaning service in High Point, NC, in 1989, focusing on providing honest jobs and valuable services to diverse community members. Maid in North Carolina, Inc expanded into multiple cities throughout the Triad by 1995, and emphasized core values such as honesty, integrity, competent staff, full insurance coverage, and a solid customer satisfaction guarantee. Walter and Gwen, who joined as marketing director and later became his wife, continue to lead the company with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

Walter ensures that his entire staff is continually motivated to be dedicated to customer service. Honesty, integrity, trustworthiness, and a strong work ethic are necessary characteristics of all employees, and these characteristics are verified by extensive background checks. 

Walter runs the business, provides the cleaning estimates, and manages his employees.  Gwen maintains the website and books, while providing backup office assistance as needed.
